Ancestor Hair Brooch

This brooch is one of a set. My sister has the other one. It's "mourning jewelry" circa 1860 or so. Perhaps it doesn't truly belong in the sewing box, but for some reason I couldn't bear to leave it out. I think the hair inside belonged to one of my great-great grandcestors, but the engraving on the back is not too clear.
